Edward Butcher
I graduated from Curtin University School of Physiotherapy. Prior to becoming the Director of Kelmscott Physiotherapy, I gained my experience in Aged Care, Hospitals, Exercise Rehabilitation, Private Practice and Sports Injury Management. Although I enjoy a variety of work here at this practice, I have a special interest in sports injury management and core stability training. The latter often includes pelvic floor and incontinence training using Real Time Ultrasound. I have had the pleasure of being the Physiotherapist of the State under 19 & under 17 netball teams and am presently the Physiotherapist for the ARKS rugby union club. In recent years I have not been able to be as involved in state sports teams due to getting married and spending more time with my three girls. Before my Physiotherapy training, I was an electrician at BHP Port Hedland and after my training I was able to travel overseas for 2 years through Europe, Africa and Asia. It was during that time that I was encouraged to follow my dream to go back to school and become a Physiotherapist.

Michael Chmielewski
I was born in Perth and grew up living on an Orchard in Roleystone. I completed my degree at Curtin University and started practicing at Kelmscott Physiotherapy in 2014. I have over 10 years' experience in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and recently became a co-director at Kelmscott Physiotherapy in 2023. I am currently living in Kelmscott with my wife and two young children. I enjoy treating a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and disorders, with a particular interest in the dizzy patient, sporting injuries and headaches. I also have additional training in Dry Needling Therapy and vertigo management. Outside of Physiotherapy, I play football for the Roleystone Tigers and cricket for the Roleystone-Karragullen Cricket Club. Kelmscott Physiotherapy has been a proud sponsor for the tigers since 2024. Music has also been a fun past time of mine and love spending hours playing the guitar.

Nancie Gruber
Born in Germany I qualified as a physiotherapist whilst living in America. After visiting Australia I then decided to move to Perth a few years ago. I graduated in 2010 from the University of Evansville in the USA with my doctorate in physiotherapy and have been working for a major hospital in the US as well as outpatient clinics in different areas of physiotherapy primarily orthopedics and sports medicine. Prior to joining the great team at Kelmscott Physio I worked in private practice in Midland for 2 years.

Kawaljeet Kaur
Born in India I graduated with Bachelor of physiotherapy and Masters of physiotherapy in neurology. After some years of experience working in hospitals and private practice in India, I moved to Australia and completed my masters in exercise physiology degree in 2017. My years as an exercise physiologist broadened my experience in exercise rehabilitation, and helping my patients become much more independent with self-management and exercise. My philosophy for Physiotherapy is looking at my patient's holistically including what their health life goals are and any barriers to them. Relieving others pain and helping them to achieve their goals is the most rewarding feeling to me! I enjoy treating a wide range of conditions including neurological and musculoskeletal issues through a combination of manual therapy, patient education, and therapeutic exercise rehabilitation. Outside of physiotherapy I have a passion for cooking and painting

Ace Ramos
I was born in the Philippines and moved over with my family to Australia when I was 9 years old. Since then, I have completed my studies throughout university and graduated from Curtin with a Bachelors of Science in Physiotherapy. I started working at Kelmscott Physio soon after. I am quite passionate about musculoskeletal disorders with a particular interest in addressing jumping sports such as volleyball and basketball. I want to help people get back to the sports and hobbies they love without being limited by pain or discomfort. Outside of physiotherapy I am passionate about powerlifting and music. You may see me spend most of my time at the gym or at a concert 😀 I look forward to working with you in getting you back on track to doing the things you enjoy!

Paolo Montemaggi
I graduated in Italy, where I worked as a physiotherapist in both hospitals and private practice before moving to Australia. Through these experiences, I developed a strong passion for managing musculoskeletal disorders, particularly low back pain, osteoarthritis, and lower limb tendinopathies. This interest led me to complete a Master's degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at Curtin University, where I further expanded my skills in evidence-based assessment and treatment. I enjoy working closely with patients to understand the root cause of their symptoms and to create tailored rehabilitation plans that help them move confidently and return to the activities they enjoy. In my free time, I like to stay active by going to the gym and exploring hiking trails. I also enjoy watching the sunset, which helps me unwind and maintain a balanced lifestyle.
